# Changelog

What changed in the app, newest release first. Each line says what you can now do, or what stopped going wrong.

## 0.60.1 17 October 2026

### Changed

- **A calmer plan editor** — editing the meal plan no longer puts a pencil and a menu on every row: tap a meal or a line to change it. "One of" now sits inside the box of the foods it offers a choice between.

### Fixed

- **Your picture on a new phone** — after installing the app again, your picture comes back from your group instead of showing your initial.

## 0.60.0 17 October 2026

### Added

- **Raw and cooked** — the meal plan ends with a Tools section whose first tool turns a raw or dry weight into its cooked weight, boiled, steamed, pan-fried and more, and back. The factors your plan states come first. "Quantities are raw" under the plan's name opens it.
- **Your picture, seen by your group** — the picture you choose in Settings now shows to the people in your group too: on the Group screen, on the meal plan tabs and next to the allergy warnings. Removing it removes it for them.
- **Your devices** — Settings lists every device signed in to your account, with when each was first and last used. Remove one you do not recognise, or sign out everywhere at once.
- **Change your password** — Settings has "Change password": type the current one and the new one, and it is changed. Forgot it? "Forgot your password?" on the sign-in page sends you a code by email.

### Changed

- **Invitations are links** — when you invite someone, you now send them a link instead of a password. They open it, choose their own password and their account is ready; nobody else ever sees it. The link works once, for seven days, and you can send a new one or withdraw it from the people list.
- **Resets, not new passwords** — an administrator who helps somebody back in now sends a password reset: the person gets a code by email and chooses a new password. The administrator never sees it.
- **Sign-in in your language** — the sign-in page now speaks the app's language instead of the browser's.
- **Your profile** — your allergies, intolerances, health conditions, the foods you dislike and your body now sit in your profile, opened from the top of the sheet behind your picture, together with your photo and your name. Tap a part and the editor opens at that part. A group member's profile opens from their row on the Group screen. The meal plan screen shows only meal plans.
- **A meal's choices, one per row** — when a line of your plan lets you choose ("pasta or rice or potatoes"), the options now sit one under the other in a box headed "one of", each with its amount, none ahead of the others. The day's meals come first, with the next one marked, instead of a card repeating it above the list.
- **The meal plan is in the bottom bar** — it has its own place after the list, instead of being reached from your picture.
- **Allergy badges on lines** — the coloured letters on a line's picture are now the faces of the people concerned, with a thin red ring for an allergy or coeliac disease, amber for an intolerance, dashed for traces.

### Fixed

- **Amounts of 1000 g and more** — editing a line of your meal plan with 1000 g or more no longer turns the amount into 1 g when you save.

## 0.59.1 15 October 2026

### Fixed

- **Health Connect** — turning the switch off and on again now works, and a height recorded long before you connected Health Connect is read too.

## 0.59.0 15 October 2026

### Added

- **Allergies and body** — in the meal plan, switch from the plan to your allergies, intolerances, health conditions, the foods you dislike, and your height, weight, age and sex, with your BMI. Everything is optional. Everyone in your group can read it on your tab, so whoever shops knows what you cannot eat; only you change it.
- **Allergy warnings on products** — a product's page warns when its label lists something someone in your group is allergic or intolerant to, or gluten for someone with coeliac disease: one warning per ingredient, saying for whom and why, and a tap shows what the label says. Lines in the shopping list, the favourites and the widget carry the same people's initials on the picture. Products the label calls gluten-free or lactose-free show it under their name.
- **Traces** — for each allergy or intolerance, choose whether "may contain" traces should warn too.
- **Height and weight from Health Connect** — connect Health Connect once in Settings, under Integrations, and your height and weight update by themselves each time you open your allergies and body. Claude, Home Assistant and Health Connect now show their logos there.

### Fixed

- **Meal plan** — a plan someone in your group shares now shows up the next time you open the meal plan, without closing the app first.
- **Connecting Claude and Home Assistant** — the note that the first sign-in asks for your Home Assistant's address is now in the Home Assistant steps, where it belongs, and no longer in Claude's.

## 0.58.0 14 October 2026

### Added

- **Meal plan** — keep your meal plan in the app, from the menu behind your picture: the next meal on top with its alternatives, the rest of the day and the week's limits, supplements and notes under it, readable without a connection. Write it yourself or have Claude import it, edit any part, and choose whether your group can see it or change it. If someone in your group shares theirs, it has its own tab.
- **Your name** — choose the name you go by in Settings, under your account: your group sees it instead of your email address, on the group screen and on the meal plan's tabs.
- **Home Assistant** — Settings, Integrations, Home Assistant tells you how to install SingleMall in Home Assistant, so your shopping list shows up there as a to-do list you can add to, tick and clear.

### Changed

- **Settings** — your account is at the top with your picture: tap it to change or remove the photo. Claude has its own page, under the new Integrations section, with today's count and the steps to connect it.
- **People** — the administration's people list keeps you on top, set apart, and orders everyone else by who used the app most recently, then by the newest app version, then by address.

### Fixed

- **Updates** — a phone that missed more than one version now installs the newest in one go, instead of being offered an older one first.
- **Shopping list** — a tick or a change made just as someone else's change arrived now reaches the other phones too, instead of staying on yours.

## 0.57.1 12 October 2026

### Added

- **Settings** — how to connect Claude to SingleMall: the address to paste, a button that copies it, and the steps, so you can set it up yourself.

## 0.57.0 12 October 2026

### Added

- **Lists** — your shopping list, Favourites and shop settings are kept in your account even when you are not in a group, so a second phone signed in to the same account shows the same lists. Leaving a group keeps the lists as they were.
- **Shops** — the shop a line is pinned to, and the shops you hide, travel with your lists: your other phones show them too, and in a group a pin is the same for everyone.
- **Settings** — shows how many of today's MCP invocations you have used and how many the day allows, with a bar that turns amber and then red as the day runs out. Administrators see the same for everyone under a person's card, can change a person's daily limit from the ⋮ menu, with what that limit could cost, and see on each card which version of the app that person last opened and when they were last active.

### Fixed

- **Shopping list** — a product saved twice under two names, as can happen after joining a group, shows its latest quantity, tick and note instead of an older one.
- **Shopping list** — changing the quantity of a line you typed, or of a product no shop of the reading sells, no longer moves it in the list.

## 0.56.0 7 October 2026

### Added

- **Group** — invite somebody with a link you share through any app. The link works once, runs out after 72 hours and can be withdrawn with a swipe. Opening it shows who invited you, how many people are in the group, what will be merged and how, and that joining leaves the group you are in now — nothing happens until you confirm.
- **Administration** — merge suggestions also find two products that are described alike, not only those with similar names.

### Fixed

- **Favourites** — opening the app from the offer notification makes the rows it names flash again, including on a morning when the notification only says that offers are about to end.
- **Group** — joining a group keeps the notes on your lines, and a line you typed with the same words as one already in the group becomes one line instead of two. Accepting an invitation while in a group now asks to leave it instead of refusing.
- **Group** — the links and requests you can swipe away no longer sit on a white strip inside their grey card.

### Changed

- **Shopping list** — tapping a line you typed yourself opens the same sheet as adding one: the products those words find, every result one tap away, and the words and the note to change.

## 0.55.0 6 October 2026

### Changed

- **Price history** — every shop's price is drawn as a chart, also when it has never changed, and buttons above it show the last month, three months, six months or year.
- **Shopping list widget** — every product shows its size, such as "1 l" or "450 g", before its price per kilo or litre, as the list in the app does.
- **Product names** — a product's name that runs over two or three lines keeps its lines closer together, so it reads as one name and takes less room: in Products, Favourites, the Shopping list, scanned products and suggested merges alike.
- **Retailers** — for administrators, every action on a retailer or an account is in the menu in its corner, as on the People screen. A card shows a button only when something has to be done, such as linking an account again, and fetching prices from every retailer is in the menu at the top.

### Fixed

- **Retailers** — for administrators, a shop's prices are no longer shown as stopped once new ones have arrived: the screen used to keep the dates from when it was first opened, until Refresh was tapped.
- **The bar at the bottom** — Shops, Products, Favourites and List now fade into each other rather than sliding, so a tap on the bar no longer slides one way or the other depending on where you started, and two screens are no longer seen on top of each other. Opening and closing a page still slides in and out from the side.

## 0.54.0 5 October 2026

### Added

- **Shops to fix** — for administrators, a notification when a linked account has lapsed or is about to, or when a shop's prices have stopped arriving. It names the shop, tapping it opens Retailers, and it says each problem once. It has its own switch in Settings, under Notifications.
- **Send a suggestion or a problem** — a new row in the menu behind your picture lets you write to the people who make the app: choose suggestion or problem, write what you have in mind and add up to three images. Up to three messages a day. The form says what is sent with your message and that images are deleted after 14 days.

### Changed

- **Products, Favourites and Shopping list** — every product shows its size under the name, such as "1 l" or "450 g", even when the name is too long to read in full.
- **Shopping list** — a ticked line leaves the list by itself two hours later, rather than twelve, so once the shopping is done only what you still need is left.
- **Favourites** — the "new offer" mark on a product goes once you open that product, and on its own two days after the notification that announced it.
- **Navigation** — going back slides the page away to the side, following your thumb when you swipe back, instead of shrinking it towards the middle of the screen.
- **Shopping list** — while you type something to add, the sheet shows the first three products it finds as rows, your favourites first, with "See all results" to open the whole search in Products. While it looks, placeholder rows say so, and if nothing matches it tells you. The first row under the field adds the words as you typed them, without choosing a product.
- **Product page** — the similar products have the chips "On sale", "Price" and "Price per unit", as on Products, and once you are a few cards along a button takes you back to the first one.
- **Product page** — the price history chart has dates along the bottom and prices up the side, a price held for a month is drawn a month wide, and dragging a finger along it shows the day and price of each change.

### Fixed

- **Retailers** — a shop's prices are marked as stopped after two days without new ones, and a linked account is marked as about to lapse in its last two days. Both used to wait six days, from when prices were fetched every third day.
- **Updates** — when an update cannot be installed, the app now says why on the screen where you tapped Install, and keeps the download so Install tries again straight away. If the phone is short of space it tells you how many megabytes to free before it starts.
- **Product page** — a product named only by its brand, such as a jar of Nutella, no longer lists unrelated products like beer or potatoes among its similar products; it shows other brands' spreads instead.
- **Products** — while a search is being worked out the list shows that it is loading, instead of the products from before; and the category chips count what the search found, not the whole catalogue.

## 0.53.0 1 October 2026

### Added

- **People** — an administrator can remind somebody to update the app: "Remind to update" in that person's menu shows them the new-version notification, if their notifications are on and their app is older. The menu of each person now holds every action, behind the three dots.

### Changed

- **Scan** — a scan that finds nothing says so at once, in place of the camera: a red panel says no product has this barcode, or that it is not a product barcode, shows the digits large so you can check them against the label, and offers "Scan again" and "Search these digits". The phone vibrates differently for a miss and for a hit.
- **Similar products** — the products like the one you opened now include other brands' products of the same kind: a lactose-free milk shows other brands' lactose-free milks, not only the same brand's.
- **Similar products** — while the products like this one are being looked up, the bottom of a product's page shows their cards in outline.
- **Shops** — pulling down on Shops says what it does: the top of the screen counts the shops as their catalogues are checked, each shop says whether it is downloading or already up to date, and a message at the end says how many were updated or which shop did not answer, with "Try again". When nothing is running, the top of Shops says that a pull fetches the newest catalogues.

### Removed

- **Products** — pulling down on the product list no longer fetches catalogues; that is done on Shops. A first load that failed offers "Try again" instead.

### Fixed

- **Notices** — the red dot on your picture, which says a new version is ready or somebody is waiting for an answer about your group, is now drawn whole and easy to see; it used to be cut off at the edge.
- **Search** — after an update, search by meaning and similar products work as soon as the app opens, not only after the next catalogue refresh.
- **Product page** — opening a product no longer flashes "this product is not in your catalogue" before the product appears.
- **Product page** — a product no longer shows a different product's prices beside its own, which made every shop appear twice. A phone that shows it is put right by the next pull on Shops.

## 0.52.0 1 October 2026

### Changed

- **Search** — search understands what you ask for better: "latte senza lattosio" brings lactose-free milks, and a brand's name brings that brand's products.
- **Search** — the first results of a search are read against what you typed, one by one, so the products that are exactly what you asked for come first: "latte senza lattosio" starts with lactose-free milks, not with yogurt or cream.
- **Search** — a search shows everything that fits what you typed, not a fixed number of products, and changing the order only rearranges them: sorting by price shows the same products as sorting by relevance.
- **Similar products** — the page of a product shows every product that is really like it, not always twelve.

### Removed

- **Search** — the note counting loose matches left out of a price order: loose matches are left out of every order now.

## 0.51.0 29 September 2026

### Changed

- **Search** — sorting a search by price or by price per kilo orders every product the search found, including those it found by meaning.
- **Similar products** — products of the same kind and in the same size come first.

### Fixed

- **Updates** — tapping the new-version notification opens Settings at the updates, not at the top of the screen.

## 0.50.0 29 September 2026

### Added

- **Shopping list** — typing a word in "Add" shows the products it finds in your shops, as cards: tap the cart to list that product instead of the word. Tapping a word already on the list shows the same cards, and the cart puts the product in its place.
- **Updates** — the update offer lists what the new version adds, changes, fixes and removes, and the first time the app opens after an update it shows once what the update brought.

## 0.49.0 29 September 2026

### Added

- **Search** — finds products by what you mean, not only by the words you type. Search "something for breakfast" or "a quick dinner to heat up" and get cereals, croissants and ready meals, even when they share no word with your search; search one word, such as "fusilli", and the products called that still come first, and a typing slip such as "mozarela" still finds the mozzarella. It runs on the phone, works offline, and what you type stays there.
- **Product page** — similar products at the bottom: a row of cards you scroll sideways, each with its own star and cart, so you can keep or list an alternative without opening it.

### Fixed

- **Product page** — a product sold in several shops showed its description once for every shop that sells it. It now shows it once.

### Removed

- **Assistant** — gone from beside the search field, with its microphone. Search and the shopping list work as before.

## 0.48.0 27 September 2026

### Added

- **Assistant** — on phones that can run one: tap the sparkle beside the search field and ask in your own words — "something for a barbecue under 20 euro" — or with your voice, and it shows the products from your shops. Ask it to put things on the list and it proposes the products you already buy; nothing is added until you confirm, and Undo takes it back. It works on the phone, even offline, and what you say stays there. The first time, the phone downloads what the assistant needs.

### Changed

- **Swipes** — every swipe now says what it did at the foot of the screen, with Undo, and a new swipe replaces the message at once instead of queueing behind it.
- **Widget** — tapping the shopping-list widget while the list is empty opens your favourites, so you can fill the list from them.

### Fixed

- **Search** — finds a product by the shelf its shop puts it on, so "yogurt" now finds yogurts whose name does not say so, such as "Yomo il Caffè". Products named after your words still come first.
- **Search** — a search that matches many products shows all of them: narrowing to one shop shows every match at that shop, and sorting by price starts at the cheapest match.
- **Swipes** — felt again: a firm click when the action is armed and a lighter one when you pull back, with no stray click as the row springs back.
- **Accessibility** — with the phone's text set very large, every button can be pressed again — including "Save the name" when renaming a shop — sheets open fully and scroll, and labels, barcodes and shop names are no longer cut short.

## 0.47.0 26 September 2026

### Added

- **Shopping list** — a ticked line leaves the list by itself twelve hours later, so what you already bought does not pile up.

### Changed

- **Updates** — they have their own place in Settings, with the buttons where every other setting keeps them, and the account menu and the prompt on opening say plainly whether a version is available or ready to install, with a link to what is new.
- **Long lists** — the arrow back to the top stays there whenever the list is still or moving up, and steps aside only while you scroll down.

## 0.46.0 26 September 2026

### Changed

- **Updates** — a new version no longer installs itself while you are away from the app. It still downloads in the background, and when you open the app it asks whether to install it now or later, so any question from your phone comes right after your own tap.

## 0.45.0 26 September 2026

### Added

- **Products** — a "Shops" chip: tick the shops you walk and see only what they sell, at the best of their prices. Nothing ticked means every shop.
- **Long lists** — back to the top: scroll up a little and tap the arrow, or tap the tab you are already on.

### Changed

- **Products** — one row per product: the "By shop" view and the card view are gone, leaving more room for the filters you use.

### Fixed

- **Pictures** — product pictures in lists appear sooner: smaller pictures where the shop offers them, and the next rows' pictures are fetched before you get there.
- **Widget** — the search and barcode widgets on the home screen no longer show pieces of the shopping list or reset themselves.

## 0.44.0 23 September 2026

### Added

- **Updates** — new versions install themselves: they download in the background and install when you are not using the app, then a notification says which version you have. Settings turns this off, and chooses whether the download waits for Wi-Fi (the default) or may use mobile data.

## 0.43.0 23 September 2026

### Added

- **Updates** — the new-version notification has an Install button: the update downloads in the background with its progress in the notification, and installs without opening the app. After the first time, Android no longer asks you to confirm each update.

### Changed

- **Notifications** — their kinds are Android's own categories: long-press a notification, or open the phone's settings for the app, to turn each kind on or off. Settings shows what is on and opens the same page, and a kind you had switched off stays off.

## 0.42.0 23 September 2026

### Added

- **Updates** — when a new version is published, the app tells you it is there and takes you to where you install it; "New versions" in Settings turns it off.
- **Offers** — the shopping list and the list widget mark offers the same way Favourites does: green for what just went on offer, red for what ends soon.

### Fixed

- **Offers** — opening Favourites from the offer notification points at the rows it named again: the rows the digest talked about tint green or red three times, which the last release did not do.
- **People** — the Italian wording no longer assumes anybody's gender.

## 0.41.0 22 September 2026

### Added

- **Favourites** — what the digest named is marked: a green chip on what just went on offer and a red one naming the day an offer ends, and opening Favourites from the notification points at those rows once.

### Changed

- **Offers** — the offer digest says "newly on offer" and "end tomorrow" once, as two headings with counts, and each line underneath is just the product, its price and its shop.
- **Offers** — each line of the offer digest is now readable in full: a long product name wraps onto the next line instead of being cut off, and the digest names at most four products before saying how many more there are.

## 0.40.0 21 September 2026

### Added

- **People** — each person's card has a Details control that shows the phones they have registered: which app version each runs and when it was last opened.

## 0.39.2 21 September 2026

### Fixed

- **People** — a person's details no longer say which language they are written to in; the invitation's language is still chosen when inviting.
- **Administration** — in Retailers, "Download prices now" no longer stays greyed out after a run has finished: reloading the list makes it available again.

## 0.39.1 21 September 2026

### Fixed

- **Settings** — the offer digest's time and "warn before an offer ends" are proper drop-down fields that show the whole choice; the Italian labels no longer get cut off.

## 0.39.0 21 September 2026

### Added

- **Offers** — the offer digest now also says which favourites' offers are about to end — "ends tomorrow", or the day you choose, from the same day to three days before.
- **Settings** — a Notifications group: switch invitations and the offer digest on or off, and set the digest's time and how far ahead it warns.
- **Notifications** — they carry the SingleMall icon.

### Changed

- **Offers** — the offer digest is at most one notification a day, at the time you choose (nine in the morning unless you change it), and only on a day there is something to say. The "right away" delivery is gone.

## 0.38.0 21 September 2026

### Added

- **Prices** — a shop whose prices are its online store's says so: a note on its card in Shops, and beside each of its prices — "online offer, holds in store" or "online price, shelf can be lower". Comparisons are unchanged.

## 0.37.0 19 September 2026

### Added

- **Offers** — when one of your favourites goes on offer, the phone tells you with a notification listing the products, the price and the shop; in Settings you can turn it off or pick the time of day the digest arrives.

## 0.36.11 18 September 2026

### Added

- **Catalogue** — refreshes by itself a few minutes after the shops publish their prices, even with the app closed; the daily refresh stays as a backstop.

## 0.36.10 18 September 2026

### Changed

- **Catalogue** — pulling down to refresh Shops, Favourites or the List now shows the same thin bar under the title as everywhere else, instead of a spinning circle; the Shops screen in Administration uses that bar too.
- **Merging** — on "Merge suggestions" the top bar keeps "Select all" alone; the separate "Select" is gone (a long press on a group still starts a selection).

## 0.36.9 18 September 2026

### Changed

- **Administration** — the Shops screen reads the same way on every card: the shop's name, what it produces, then its buttons on one row, with "Fetch prices now" last; buttons no longer squeeze onto two lines, and the top action says "Refresh" like the other administration screens.

## 0.36.8 18 September 2026

### Changed

- **Administration** — the Esselunga pickup points are now yours to choose: editing a linked Esselunga account offers the retailer's whole list of pickup points, with a search box, so you add the ones you want read, remove the ones you do not, and switch each on or off. The account's own pickup points fill the list the first time it is linked and are not touched afterwards.

## 0.36.7 18 September 2026

### Added

- **Shops** — one Esselunga account brings every pickup point it holds into the app, each as its own shop with its own prices: the shops are read from the account every night, a new pickup point appears by itself, and in Administration each one can be switched off. The account is put back on the shop you left it on.

## 0.36.6 18 September 2026

### Added

- **Shops** — on the link sheet of a shop that needs your account, "Sign in from the phone" opens the shop's own page in a private browser inside the app: after you sign in, what the link needs is taken by itself, the page closes and nothing of that visit stays on the phone.

## 0.36.5 18 September 2026

### Fixed

- **Updates** — an update downloaded and not yet installed is still there after the app is closed and opened again: it is checked once more and offered as ready, instead of being fetched a second time. Dismissing the version removes the file.

## 0.36.4 18 September 2026

### Fixed

- **Pictures** — starting the app no longer waits for the picture cache to be checked and cleared: that happens in the background.

## 0.36.3 18 September 2026

### Fixed

- **Pictures** — a picture cache already over the new 64 MB ceiling is cleared at the next start, rather than waiting for the next picture to be fetched.

## 0.36.2 18 September 2026

### Fixed

- **Updates** — the app no longer keeps every update package it ever downloaded: on the owner's phone twenty of them, thirty megabytes each, were most of what Android called the app's data. They are removed on start, and the folder is emptied before each new download.
- **Pictures** — product pictures kept on the phone are capped at 64 MB; the oldest go first. They used to grow to 250 MB.

## 0.36.1 17 September 2026

### Fixed

- **Navigation** — the back gesture no longer leaves the app straight from Shops, Favourites or the list: it returns to Products first, and leaves only from there. A product page or an open sheet still closes first, as before.

## 0.36.0 17 September 2026

### Changed

- **Navigation** — Shops is the first item in the bottom bar and Products the second. The app still opens on Products.
- **Favourites** — no longer shows a count over the rows.

## 0.35.0 17 September 2026

### Changed

- **Merging** — in the merge section, each kind of match starts closed, showing only its name and how many groups it holds; tap the heading to open or close it. Reaching the next kind no longer means scrolling past hundreds of groups.

## 0.34.1 17 September 2026

### Fixed

- **Sign-in** — you are no longer signed out when the app cannot reach the sign-in service for a moment — after a night, on a weak signal, in a tunnel. It simply tries again next time; only a session the service has actually ended signs you out.

## 0.34.0 17 September 2026

### Fixed

- **Shopping list** — when the list is split between shops, the shop chip over each group is no longer cut short with room to spare beside it.

### Added

- **Shopping list** — reading at one shop, a line that costs less at another of your shops says so under the line, with what you would save there — as the widget already did.

## 0.33.1 17 September 2026

### Fixed

- **Shopping list** — the last line scrolls clear of the round add button, so its price and quantity are no longer hidden under it.

## 0.33.0 17 September 2026

### Changed

- **Shopping list** — the row above the first line — the shop chip and the total — is gone: the total is at the foot, and there the reading button now wears the chosen shop's colour. A line carries a shop chip only when it is bought somewhere other than the shop you are reading at, so the chips no longer crowd the names, and a name may now take three lines instead of two.
- **Widget** — the home-screen list widget no longer draws a scrollbar over the prices.

## 0.32.0 17 September 2026

### Changed

- **Widget** — on the home-screen list widget, tap the shop chip to open the list of your shops under it and pick one; the arrow is gone. The figure at the top right now says it is the total at this shop.
- **Widget** — a line that costs less at another of your shops says so under the line, with what you would save there.

## 0.31.0 17 September 2026

### Fixed

- **Shops** — when you put away the card of a shop and keep one of its copies, the copy's name is what every row, chip and price card says. The put-away card's name used to stay on the rows.
- **Merging** — accepting many groups at once no longer closes the app or stops half-way: the merges are written in one go and sent in the background, waiting for a connection and retrying if needed, even after you leave the screen or the app. While they are being sent the merge section shows only how many are through.

### Changed

- **Catalogue** — pulling to refresh, and the daily refresh, fetch only the shops whose catalogue has changed since the last time. A shop that has not changed costs nothing.
- **Widget** — the home-screen list widget redraws sooner after a tick.

## 0.30.0 16 September 2026

### Fixed

- **Widget** — a tick on the widget reaches the home screen as soon as it is written, and a box tapped again a moment later stays as you left it: a late redraw used to put it back.
- **Updates** — the app looks for a newer version whenever it comes back to the front, whichever section it comes back on, at most once every quarter of an hour. Before, only Products asked, and at most once an hour, so the dot on your avatar was rarely there.

## 0.29.0 16 September 2026

### Added

- **Shopping list** — you can add anything to the list by typing it — "eggs", "something for dinner" — with the round button on the list. The words you typed before are one tap away in the same place, in alphabetical order, whether or not they are still on the list; the cross on one forgets it, for everyone you share the list with.
- **Shopping list** — a typed line has a section of its own on the list and on the widget, with no price. Tap it to see the products in your shops that match the words and turn it into one of them, keeping the quantity, the tick and the note.
- **Shopping list** — any line of the list can carry a note — "the ripe ones", "two if on offer" — written by holding the line. It shows under the name on the list and on the widget, and reaches the rest of your group with the line.

### Changed

- **Shopping list** — what you have already put in the trolley now stands under its own heading at the foot of the list, in the app and on the widget, instead of staying in its department struck through.

### Fixed

- **Shopping list** — a product the shop you are reading does not sell now shows a price again: the cheapest among your shops, greyed, under a chip naming that shop, as on the widget. The price column had a dash there.
- **Widget** — a line the shop you are reading does not sell now names the shop where it really is cheapest. A shop you had renamed was skipped, so the line could show a dearer shop's price.
- **Widget** — the tick box answers at once: the pictures beside the lines are kept between redraws instead of being fetched again on every tap.
- **Updates** — "Check now" in Settings says when the check got no answer, instead of quietly keeping a version noticed days ago; and "Download" checks once more first, so a phone several versions behind gets the newest one.

## 0.28.0 16 September 2026

### Changed

- **Widget** — the shopping-list widget has one row of shops again, fixed at the top: the shop you are reading is the first chip, in its colour, and the round arrow at the end of the row turns to the next shop and reads the list for it. Tapping any chip still chooses that shop.
- **Widget** — its list scrolls: every line can be reached, and the row of shops stays in place above it.
- **Widget** — a line the chosen shop does not sell still shows a price: the cheapest at another of your shops, with that shop named under the line.

### Fixed

- **Widget** — it redraws after a tick or a change of shop made on the widget itself; it could show the old list until the app was opened.

## 0.27.0 16 September 2026

### Changed

- **Widget** — the shopping-list widget draws each line the way the app's list does: the product's picture, the name on up to two lines, the price per unit and the brand under it, and the price and quantity at the end. Only the quantity buttons are missing; the app has those.
- **Widget** — the shop chips at the top are all visible: when they do not fit on one row they continue on the rows below, and every one can be tapped. The arrow that turned the row is gone. A widget cannot scroll sideways, so wrapping is how every shop stays in view.

### Fixed

- **Updates** — the app now also looks for a newer version when it comes back to the front, not only when it is opened afresh. An app left in the background overnight showed no notice of a version published in the night until Settings was asked by hand.

## 0.26.0 15 September 2026

### Added

- **Widget** — your shopping list can now sit on the home screen. Along the top is a chip for each of your shops; tap one and the whole list is priced and grouped for that shop, with its total beside the chips, and the app opens on that shop too. Where the chips do not all fit, the last one turns the row round to the rest. Each line has a box to tick it off, the quantity where there is more than one, and what it costs there, and the lines stand under the departments in the order you walk that shop.
- **Widget** — two more home-screen shortcuts: a magnifier that opens the products with the search field ready to type in, and a barcode that opens the camera. Stretch either one wider and it becomes the full search bar with the barcode beside it.

### Changed

- **Product page** — the percentage off sits beside the price, and the offer's full wording and end date are shown in the price card without opening it; opening the card now only adds the price over time.

## 0.25.0 15 September 2026

### Added

- **Favourites** — a swipe to one side puts the product on your shopping list and a swipe to the other takes it off Favourites; which side does which is yours to choose.
- **Search** — when your words on Favourites or on your list match nothing, one tap searches the same words across all products.

### Changed

- **Swipes** — the swipe settings now show each screen — Products, Favourites, the shopping list — with a right-swipe row and a left-swipe row, a drawing of what each does, and a Change button, the way your mail app does.
- **Product page** — the offer is shown as its percentage when the price card is closed; opening the card shows the offer's full wording and its end date, no longer cut short.

## 0.24.0 15 September 2026

### Fixed

- **Swipes** — a swipe now does its work only when you let go: while your finger is down nothing happens, and pulling back short of the line before lifting it leaves the product as it was.
- **Shopping list** — adding a product that is already on your list no longer raises its quantity; the list itself is where you set how many.

## 0.23.0 15 September 2026

### Added

- **Sharing** — being asked to share somebody's shopping is now a notification on your phone: it tells you how many requests are waiting and opens them when tapped. The app asks once for permission to notify you.

### Changed

- **Sharing** — the people in your group are shown by the address they signed in with, not by a code.
- **Sharing** — an invitation now reaches the other phone within seconds of being sent, and the sender sees the answer the same way — no more reopening the app or the Group screen to find out.

## 0.22.0 15 September 2026

### Added

- **Administration** — in the administrator's view of the groups, a small copy mark beside each address puts it on the clipboard, ready to paste into the next invitation.

## 0.21.0 15 September 2026

### Fixed

- **Catalogue** — the first download after signing in no longer gives up on a single dropped connection: the app tries again on its own before saying anything, and a download that stalls is cut short rather than left hanging.

### Added

- **Shops** — the ones you never walk into can be put away: open a shop's card, or a copy of one, in Shops and tap Hide, and it stops appearing — not in results, not in the filters, not among a product's prices, not in what your shopping list costs. Nothing is deleted and nothing less is downloaded: a drawer at the bottom of Shops holds what you have put away, and Show puts one back exactly where it was, with its name, its colour and the order you walk it in. The choice is yours and this phone's — the people you share lists with keep their own.
- **Sharing** — a request you sent to share your lists can now be taken back: swipe the address away in Group and it is gone, with Undo in case the thumb was faster than the thought. Undo asks the same address again.

### Changed

- **Administration** — the administrator's view of who shares with whom is readable at last. Each group shows when it started and a row of small circles, one per person, with a number when there are more than fit; open it and you see everyone with the address they signed in with, when they joined, the requests still waiting with the day they run out, and a field to invite somebody into that group. From there you can take a person out, take a request back, copy the group's reference, or dissolve the whole thing.
- **Swipes** — a swipe now speaks with the thumb both ways: a tick as you cross the line, another as you come back short of it, and the mark under the row shows what letting go would leave — an empty star fills, a ticked circle hollows — so crossing the line feels like the action and crossing back like undoing it.

## 0.20.0 15 September 2026

### Added

- **Offers** — when a price is on offer and the shop says until when, opening the offer on the product page now shows the day it ends.
- **Sharing** — a change someone else in your group makes now reaches your phone within seconds, whether the app is open in front of you or asleep in your pocket. Two people in the same shop see each other tick lines off as it happens, and a phone picked up later is already up to date.

### Changed

- **Swipes** — swiping a row says less and confirms more. Marking a product as taken, or adding it to Favourites or to the list, no longer pops a message at the foot of the screen: the row itself shows what happened and the same swipe takes it back. Only removing something — from the list, from Favourites, from the scan history — still offers Undo. A swipe completes only if you let go past the line; pull back before letting go and nothing happens.
- **Administration** — the invitation an administrator shares reads better in a chat: one emoji per line, an opening line that says what SingleMall is, a clear question for whoever used it from the browser ("remove that icon first"), the three install steps in one breath, and a shorter message when it carries a replacement password rather than a first one.

## 0.19.0 15 September 2026

### Added

- **Sharing** — you can now send someone a product. On a product page, tap Share and pick a chat or a message: it sends one line naming the product and a link. Whoever has SingleMall on their phone taps the link and lands straight on that product. If they are not signed in yet, they sign in first and the product opens by itself afterwards — even if the phone closed the app in the meantime. If the product is not in the shops they have added, the page says so. Nothing about a price, a shop or you travels with the link, and whoever has no app sees the page that offers it.
- **Shopping list** — lines on the list now answer to a swipe as well. Pull a line one way to tick it off as taken, the same way again to put it back; pull it the other way to take it off the list. Both say what they did and offer to undo it, and in Settings you choose which side does which — so the one that deletes can sit under whichever thumb you prefer.

### Changed

- **Swipes** — swiping a product to keep it or to list it now takes a longer, deliberate pull, and the phone gives one short tick the moment the pull is far enough to count. The colour under the row fills in at that same moment, so you can feel and see that letting go will do something. Anything shorter than that springs back and does nothing, and a quick flick sideways while scrolling no longer adds things by accident.
- **Merging** — products that look like the same thing now come in groups instead of one pair at a time. The app reads everything your shops sell in one go — it says how far it has got — and puts what it finds under plain headings: same name and same size first, then one word apart, then same brand and size. A card shows every product in the group with its shop and its size, and marks the one that stays. Accept a whole group with one tap, or take everything under a heading at once.

## 0.18.0 15 September 2026

### Added

- **Shops** — one of your copies of a shop is the one the app shows. If you walk three branches of the same supermarket, the shopping plan, the "by shop" filter, the prices on a product page and the shop mark on a row now name just one of them instead of three that look alike. Open a copy's card and tap "Use as default" to make it that one, or tap the same on the shop's own card to hand it back; the card that is already it says so. Your list then walks that branch's aisles. The choice travels with the group, like the names and the colours, and deleting a copy hands it back to the shop it came from.

### Changed

- **Shopping plan** — choosing how to do the shopping reads like the rest of the app: every shop wears its own colour and its own mark, what a split trip costs is said as a few short facts instead of a paragraph, and each shop that cannot supply the whole list shows only how many products it is short of — tap it to see which ones. The count is of products, so six bottles of the same water count as one thing to find elsewhere.
- **Sharing** — the people you share with are now the first thing on the sharing screen: each with their circle, their name and the day they joined. What exactly you share is behind the info mark beside the title, in four short points.

### Fixed

- **People** — sharing with someone who already signed in no longer claims they are still waiting to sign in and no longer asks for a password nobody needs: the button sends them the sign-in instructions, and the invitation with its first password is offered only to people who have never signed in.
- **Shopping list** — a line that arrived from someone else's phone no longer shows a string of letters and numbers where its name should be. Every line now keeps the name, the brand and the picture of the product from the moment it was added, so it reads properly on a phone that has never loaded that shop — and it keeps reading properly after the product leaves the shops for good, where the line now says it is no longer in the catalogue. On the rare line nobody can put a name to, it says so in words.

## 0.17.0 15 September 2026

### Changed

- **Shops** — the card of a shop now holds everything about that shop: open it and you get one button into its shelves, and under it the colour it wears, the order of its departments, its name and a copy of it. The colour is chosen there — with the shop's own chip in front of you — instead of in a list in Settings, which is gone.
- **Shopping list** — the total of your list is now called a total — it is the prices your shops published, added up — and it sits in a line at the foot of the screen instead of at the top, so the first product is right under the search box. Tap the mark beside the figure to read where those prices come from.

### Fixed

- **Loading** — opening a screen no longer says there is nothing there before the content appears. Your shops, your list and your favourites now show a bar across the top and grey placeholder rows while they are being read, and the "nothing here yet" message waits until there really is nothing.
- **Swipes** — swiping a product to keep it or to put it on the list now says what it did once. It used to run on: added, removed, added.
- **Shops** — dragging a department to the top of a long list works: the list scrolls under your finger instead of the drag stopping at the edge.
- **Notifications** — the entry is always there in the account sheet now, under Group, and says how many requests are waiting — or that none are — so you can look without waiting to be told.
- **Updates** — Settings can install a newer version, not only tell you there is one: the card offers the same download and install as the account sheet.
- **Updates** — the download of a new version no longer stops at the last kilobyte. The app fetches the file itself now, checks it as it arrives, and opens the installation when it is whole.
- **Language** — in Italian, the number of shops and the words on the undo button are Italian.

## 0.16.0 15 September 2026

### Added

- **Sharing** — your shopping list, your favourites and your shops can now be shared with somebody. Open your picture, tap Group, type the address they signed in with, and tap Invite. From then on you both keep one list: a line one of you ticks in the aisle is struck on the other's phone, and the names, colours and aisle order you gave your shops are the same on both.
- **Sharing** — a dot on your picture when somebody asks to share with you. Tap it, read the request, and accept or decline. You have three days to answer; after that the request shows as expired to whoever sent it. You can share with one group of people at a time.
- **Sharing** — accepting keeps everything from both sides: the two lists become one, a product on both keeps the larger number, a line either of you had ticked stays ticked, and both people's shops and copies of shops are kept — two copies with the same name are both there, the second one marked.
- **Sharing** — leave the group whenever you like. Your list, your favourites and your shops stay on your phone exactly as they were at that moment; you simply stop sharing them.
- **Administration** — a new Groups screen: who is sharing with whom and since when, with the means to take one person out or to end a group. Everybody keeps their own copy either way.

## 0.15.0 15 September 2026

### Added

- **Prices** — tap a shop on a product's page to see what its price has done there: the curve when the price has moved, with the days it covers and its lowest and highest figures, and otherwise the plain sentence that says what it has cost since the day it was first seen. Every shop on the page has its own, not just the cheapest one.
- **Shopping list** — reading the list one shop at a time, or split across shops, the lines under each shop are gathered by department, in alphabetical order inside it, so you walk the shop once instead of back and forth. Anything the catalogue does not classify goes under Other, at the end. Read all together, the list stays one alphabetical run with the shop's tag on every line.
- **Shops** — on the Shops screen, each shop offers Arrange the departments, where you drag them into the order you actually walk them. The order is kept for that shop on your phone, and one tap puts it back the way the shop lists them.
- **Shops** — call a shop what you call it: Rename on its card gives it your own name and colour everywhere the app names it, and the name it comes with stays underneath so you always know which one it is.
- **Shops** — shop at two branches of the same supermarket? Duplicate as on a shop's card makes a copy of it with its own name, colour and order of departments. The copy shows the same products at the same prices, and a new one starts from the order you already gave the shop it was made from.
- **Shopping list** — tap the shop tag on a line to say where you buy it — any shop that sells it, or any of your copies — or hand the choice back with "wherever it is cheapest". A copy gets its own part of a split trip only for the lines you sent there.
- **Shops** — removing a copy of a shop puts everything you had set to buy there back to the shop it came from, ticks and all. The shop itself stays: only your copies can be removed.

### Changed

- **Product page** — every shop that sells the product is now written the same way: one card each, cheapest first and marked as such, with the shop's coloured tag, the price and the price per kilo side by side, and what each other shop costs you extra written as a sum of money — "+0,30 €" — so you no longer have to subtract two prices to know. An offer is a short tag on its own card; tap it to read it in full.
- **Product page** — keeping a product among your favourites and putting it on the list are now two buttons fixed at the foot of its page, in the same place whether it is sold in one shop or five, instead of somewhere in the middle of the scroll.
- **Updates** — Update now fetches the new version inside the app and opens the installer when it is ready; the row tells you how far it has got, checks that what arrived is the right file, and says so and throws it away if it is not. The browser is no longer part of it.
- **Shopping list** — the top of the list is one line now — what you have left to spend and how you are shopping it — so the first product of the list is on screen without scrolling. Tap the mark beside the figure to read where the prices come from.

## 0.14.0 14 September 2026

### Added

- **Administration** — an administrator can share sign-in instructions with somebody who already has an account, without issuing a new password.
- **Swipes** — slide a product along its row to keep it among your favourites, or the other way to put it on your shopping list. Sliding the same way again takes it off, and a message at the foot of the screen lets you undo it.
- **Swipes** — Settings now lets you choose which way round the two sliding shortcuts are.
- **Merging** — tap either product in a suggested pair to open a panel from the foot of the screen with its photo, its details and what each shop charges, so you can judge the two without leaving the list. Swipe it down to put it away.
- **Merging** — the suggestions screen has a Select button at the top for answering several pairs at once; holding a pair down still does the same.
- **Product page** — copy a product's barcode from its page with the button beside it, and copy its name or its brand by holding either of them down.
- **Shops** — every shop now has its own colour, so you can tell at a glance which one a price comes from. The shop's name sits in a coloured tag beside the price, in lists, on cards and on the product page.
- **Product page** — every shop that sells the product is listed, cheapest first, each with its own tag and price, so you can compare them down one column.
- **Shops** — the Shops screen shows each shop's own logo on its colour.
- **Shops** — Settings has a new group, Shops' colours, where you can give any shop a different colour on your phone, and put it back as it was.

### Changed

- **Administration** — the instructions an administrator shares now say that anyone who added SingleMall to their home screen from the browser should remove that shortcut before installing the app.
- **Products** — rows no longer carry a star at the end of the line: sliding the row is how you keep one now. Products shown as cards keep both buttons.
- **Products** — every product row and card now reads the same way round: the name first and larger, the brand under it, always in the same place, so you can compare two products without hunting for either.
- **Merging** — when selecting suggested pairs, checkboxes appear only while you are selecting, and Select all is one tap away.

### Fixed

- **Appearance** — the chips, counts and totals under the top row no longer sit flush against it.
- **Appearance** — the band behind the clock is the same colour as the row below it, in light and in dark.
- **Merging** — a suggested pair now says where each of the two products is sold even when it is sold in several shops: the line was cut short and the shop vanished with it.
- **Swipes** — Undo after swiping a row off the list or off your favourites now brings the row back and keeps it: with more than one row on screen, the row that came back was removed again at once.
- **Prices** — products on your shopping list and among your favourites keep their prices when a shop starts publishing their barcode. They used to turn up as sold nowhere, with nothing to spend, while the same product was on sale at its usual price elsewhere in the app. Anything saved before this update that ended up that way is put right the next time the catalogue is refreshed.

## 0.13.0 14 September 2026

### Added

- **Language** — SingleMall appears among the apps whose language you can choose in your phone's settings, and the Language row in Settings takes you there.

### Changed

- **Favourites** — your wishlist is now called Favourites, and a star marks a favourite wherever a product appears — in a row, on a card and on the product page.
- **Search** — the search field, the scan button and your picture sit in one row at the top of every screen, always in the same place, so nothing sits on top of anything else; your favourites and the list can now be searched the same way.
- **Updates** — a newer version of the app no longer takes a line at the top of the products screen: a dot appears on your picture instead, and the first row of the sheet it opens names the version, fetches it with one tap, shows what changed, or puts it away until the next one.

### Fixed

- **Navigation** — a product page, and every other screen you open from a section, starts at the top instead of a bar lower.
- **Updates** — Settings no longer says this is the newest version when the check for a newer one could not be made.

## 0.12.0 14 September 2026

### Added

- **Administration** — an administrator can see everyone who has access, invite someone, change what they may do, suspend, restore or remove them, and hand over the first password through the phone's share sheet.
- **Administration** — an administrator has an area of their own for the catalogue and the people who read it, with everyone who has access, the shops SingleMall reads and the accounts it reads them with: set a shop up, link an account or link it again before it lapses, see when each shop's prices last arrived, and fetch prices now for one shop or all of them.
- **Merging** — an administrator can tick several pairs of look-alike products and answer them all at once, after one question naming how many.
- **Account** — your picture sits at the top right of every main screen: tap it for your settings, the colour mode and the way out, and set a photo from your gallery that never leaves the phone.
- **Updates** — when a newer version of the app is out, a line at the top of the products screen says so: one tap fetches it and the phone takes it from there, another shows what changed, and "Not now" puts the line away until the version after that.
- **Updates** — Settings says which version you have and which one is out, with the day it was built, and checks on the spot when you ask.

### Changed

- **Search** — the search field and the scan button sit at the bottom of the products screen, within reach of a thumb, and the keyboard lifts them instead of covering them.
- **Navigation** — the bar at the bottom holds the four things you move between — products, shops, wishlist and list — with clearer marks, and a shop is now a shopfront rather than a star.
- **Settings** — only what is yours stays there: how the app looks, the language, your account and which version you have. Everything about the catalogue and the people who read it now sits in its own place, reached from your picture.

### Fixed

- **Products** — the products screen shows one loading bar instead of two.
- **Merging** — the title of the merge suggestions screen stays at the top while the search runs, instead of floating in the middle of the screen.

## 0.11.2 14 September 2026

### Added

### Fixed

- **Barcode scanner** — opening the scanner no longer closes the app.

## 0.11.1 14 September 2026

### Fixed

- **Merging** — after merging two products, the page stays on the product that survived instead of going blank.

## 0.11.0 14 September 2026

### Changed

- **Prices** — the price per kilo or litre now comes with the catalogue, so every phone shows the same figure for the same product.
- **Prices** — the shop line under a product says where the best price is ("Best price at … · +2"), not just which shop lists it.

### Fixed

- **Products** — a narrow row keeps the shop's name and shortens the count of other shops instead of cutting the name.

## 0.10.0 14 September 2026

### Added

- **Swipes** — a row swiped away leaves the wishlist, the shopping list or the scan history, with an undo.
- **Shops** — the Shops tab opens with how many shops it holds and when the catalogue was last updated.

### Changed

- **Product page** — a "similar elsewhere" candidate names the shop that sells it, rather than counting shops.
- **Products** — product names no longer start with the shop's warehouse code.

### Fixed

- **Swipes** — a swipe shows its red background only while the row is moving, and removing the last row keeps the undo.

## 0.9.0 14 September 2026

### Changed

- **Products** — on a phone held sideways the catalogue opens on products: the search field and the filters share one row and the rows are shorter.

### Fixed

- **Shopping plan** — the shopping-list planner uses the same short shop names as the rest of the app.
- **Search** — the keyboard's search key closes the suggestions so the results are visible.
- **Product page** — a promotion stands out instead of reading like a grey note.
- **Merging** — "Not the same" on a merge suggestion is a proper button.
- **Products** — units in product names are written the same way everywhere ("250 ml", not "250 Ml").

## 0.8.0 14 September 2026

### Added

- **Products** — they can be shown as cards or as rows; the choice is remembered.
- **Catalogue** — pull down to refresh on the Shops screen and on both lists.
- **Pictures** — a product without a photograph shows its initial on a tint of its department, instead of a grey square.

### Changed

- **Sorting** — sorting by price keeps only the products that really match your words, and says how many it left out.
- **Product page** — it separates "Also at" (the same product in other shops) from "Similar elsewhere" (a guess, with the reason).
- **Merging** — finding products that might be the same runs in the background, shows its progress and finishes much sooner.

## 0.7.0 14 September 2026

### Added

- **Products** — placeholder rows while the catalogue loads, and a "Clear the filters" button when nothing matches.
- **Products** — the catalogue keeps your place when you switch tabs and come back.

### Changed

- **Prices** — they read "2,99 €" and "29,10 €/kg"; product names are no longer in capital letters.
- **Product page** — it opens on the product's picture, with the other shops listed under "Also at".
- **Settings** — grouped into Account, Appearance, Language and Catalogue.
- **Shops** — a shop card no longer repeats its product count, and tapping it opens that shop's catalogue.

### Fixed

- **Product page** — opening a product no longer waits many seconds before showing similar products.
- **Shopping list** — the quantity buttons are larger and announced to screen readers.

## 0.6.0 13 September 2026

### Added

- **Prices** — every product shows its price per kilo or litre, worked out from the pack.

### Changed

- **Shops** — each shop has one name, used on the catalogue, the lists and the Shops screen.
- **Products** — the catalogue, the wishlist and the shopping list use the same row.
- **Sorting** — sorting by unit price sorts by the figure shown.
- **Product page** — it shows the barcode only when it is a real one, and no internal codes.

### Fixed

- **Catalogue** — a catalogue that appeared empty now loads.
- **Catalogue** — pull down to refresh also works from an empty catalogue.

## 0.5.0 13 September 2026

### Added

- **Barcode scanner** — a history of scanned barcodes, with the product each one found, that can be cleared in one tap.
- **Merging** — the product page shows products that might be the same, with the reason; an administrator can merge them and undo the last merge.
- **Merging** — administrators get a list of merge suggestions in Settings.

### Changed

- **App icon** — it is the SingleMall mark.

### Fixed

- **Catalogue** — an empty catalogue says whether the shops are not ready yet or the download failed.

- **Shopping plan** — a planner: buy everything in one shop, or split the list across shops and see how much you save.
