# Terms of use

SingleMall is a private service, free and by invitation. These are the rules: few of them, and written to be understood on the first pass.

Version of 15 September 2026. The Italian text is the authoritative one; this is a translation.

## Who offers the service

SingleMall is run by a private individual, for himself and a small group of invited people: [MicheledG on GitHub](https://github.com/MicheledG). It is not a business, there is nothing to pay and there is nothing for sale. For anything at all, the person to ask is the one who invited you: they are the same person who administers the service.

## Access is personal and by invitation

Accounts are created by invitation only: there is no sign-up. Access is personal — your credentials are yours, and they are not lent, shared or resold.

Access can be suspended or withdrawn at any time, and the service can be changed or switched off with no notice: it is a personal project, not a service with a commitment to keep running.

## Prices are copies, and the price at the till is the real one

Products, prices, promotions and pictures are copies of what the supermarkets publish on their own channels. They are collected at regular intervals, so what you see is how it was at the last refresh, not necessarily how it is now.

A price can also depend on things the app cannot see: the outlet, how the shopping is collected or delivered, a promotion tied to a loyalty card, a mistake by the shop. **The price that counts is the one at the till.** SingleMall sells nothing, takes no orders and makes no payments: no purchase happens here.

The service is offered as it is, with no warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of the data, and whoever runs it is not answerable for shopping done on the strength of a price that turned out to be different.

## No affiliation with any supermarket

SingleMall is not connected to, authorised by, sponsored by or endorsed by any of the chains that appear in the app. The names and logos are there to tell you which shop a price came from and remain their owners' marks.

## What you must not do

- Do not share your sign-in credentials with anybody.
- Do not republish, resell or redistribute the catalogue data: it is not ours to give away.
- Do not use the service to collect data on somebody else's behalf, or by automated means.
- Do not try to reach other people's accounts, data or the administration features.

Use is personal and non-commercial. Whoever does not keep to these rules loses access.

## The app installs as a file

The Android app is downloaded from this site as an installation file, not from an app store. The front page shows the file's fingerprint, so you can check that what you downloaded is what was published.

## Your data

What is kept, where and for how long is written in the [privacy notice](/en/privacy.md), which is part of these terms.

## Governing law

The service is run by somebody resident in Italy and the data sits in Italy: Italian law applies. Rights the law gives consumers, which cannot be signed away, are unaffected.

## If these terms change

The date at the top is the version. When something substantial changes the date changes, and whoever uses the app hears about it from the app itself. Corrections of wording do not move the date.
