The Android app

The Android app is not on the Play Store: you download it from this site. It needs Android 12 or later.

1. Open the home page on your phone and tap "Get the Android app".
2. Android asks permission to install apps from this browser: allow it. It asks for every app that does not come from the Play Store.
3. Open the file and confirm the install.
4. Sign in with the e-mail address from the invitation and the password you chose.

Updates

The app checks for a new version by itself, downloads it and asks when to install it. In Settings you choose whether it updates automatically and whether only on Wi-Fi. What changes in each version is in what's new.

Only in the Android app

The list widget on the Home screen, notifications about offers on your favourites, barcode scanning with the camera and, if you like, height and weight read from Health Connect.

Optional, if you want to check the file: compare its SHA-256 fingerprint with the one next to the download button.

Can I remove the permission to install from the browser?

Yes, after the install, in your phone's settings. Updates are installed by the app itself.
